In 2014, mysterious fires were reported by the local media in Cachoeira do Sul. There are rumors that nine consecutive fires have occurred in a house in the center of Cachoeira do Sul, on the corner of Andrade Neves and Liberato Salzano streets, without any explanation. According to a report by Rádio Fadango, a radio station in the city, a priest, who preferred to remain anonymous, highlighted the lack of logic in a plastic flower simply catching fire out of nowhere. Furthermore, he recommended that a parapsychologist priest be brought in to investigate the incident.
Captain Lunardi, from the Fire Department, was also asked by journalists to talk about the case. According to the same, this is an abnormal phenomenon. The Fire Department reports that it is not possible to determine whether the origin of the fire was due to a short circuit, gas or another cause.
The house is currently uninhabited.
